Blood Oath is a great hidden-object game that blends adventure and puzzle elements with a vampire story. With superb visuals and a soundtrack adding a taut feeling of suspense, the game puts you in the role of a newly transformed vampire who struggles to survive in the just-exploding war between vampires and vampire hunters.
As the game starts, you find yourself alone in a dark, messy room, in what looks like an old abandoned house. There are lots of strange objects scattered all over the place, as if something bad has just happened. You stay there not knowing what to do, unsettled by the tense atmosphere, until help finally arrives. A mysterious girl appears in front of you to say you have to abandon the place immediately, as your life is in danger. The problem is that at first sight there's no possible way to get out. She gives you some clues, but the information is so enigmatic that you will actually need to rely on your intuition, observation power, and puzzle solving skills to escape. She also gives you a special element, an ankh that will serve you as a guide along your way.
You will spend most of the time collecting hidden objects from different rooms, while combining them to create special artifacts that will eventually help you solve more complex riddles. As the story develops, you will also unlock achievements that will give you special abilities to face future challenges, which are many, as this is just the beginning.
